According to Richard Gibson the the committee that was busy with the establishment of a new law school in Sint Maarten has finalized their mission and the construction of St Maarten’s first law school could begin as early as September 2017. He claims that it will be an accredited law school in synchronicity with a similar school in Curacao. He also said that the students would not have to pay for costly tuition and fees.
The school will be bilingual, but students will have to be fluent in Dutch.The costs from tuition will cover any overhead. There will also be language courses for students to hone their Dutch language skills.
